Ordering menus while managing content
You can use the content mangement system to move articles around so they appear in a particular order within a category -- or move menu items around too
All articles and categories/menu items in the content management system can be ordered so that you can specify where they appear in a list. Click on Navigation ordering to get access to
this feature.
Then use the dropdown menu to display the particular category/menu item where you want to change the order. Default ordering is that the most recent items will appear at the bottom of a list. To
make articles/categories move up a list give them a smaller number (or more negative number). The smaller, the higher the content management system will place them in the list. Leave gaps of at least
10 between the numbers you choose so that you can easily slip in new elements beween existing ones. Giving an element a number greater than 999 can force that story or category to be hidden on some
pages. So only use numbers this large if you are controlling this feature.
