Picture library and content management
All pictures and graphics (and files!) are added to the content management system's library so that they are available for any page you want to build. Also, update a graphic -- and it will update itself all over the site wherever it is used.
Click on List images (in the Image Library) to see all pictures and graphics currently in the library. You can preview any image by clicking on the view image link.
To add a new image, click on the add button.
Fill in the Title, keyword and caption fields to help identify your image, then use the Browse button to navigate to the image you want to upload, on your local machine.
This should be a JPEG (.jpg), GIF (.gif) or PNG (.png) file to ensure that your image will show in all modern browsers.
Currently, the content managment system requires that your image is round about the actual size you want to use it. (You can resize your picure on any page in the wysiwyg editor, but the actual file size remains unchanged. So a big picture will still have a big file size, even though you have reduced the size of it on your page). However this is due shortly to change with a new release by Accentika Internet, Worcester, of the Accent-on-Business system that will automatically downsize file sizes, and sharpen pictures, so that you can upload images of any size(!!).
Now click the Submit button and your image will be uploaded by the content management system from your machine to the site library. Once the upload has finished, you can add the picture
to any of your pages. If you have other images you want to add to your pages, use the content management system to upload them to the library at the same time.
